I thought I should advise you of the Llanthony valley road closure (you may of course know already!) There was a land slip just out of Cwmyoy ( my location ) on route to Llanthony. The road is officially closed indefinitely, until a deviation can be created in the adjacent field. Locals are however going through against Council instructions, by moving and replacing barriers. Llanthony can of course be accessed via the Gospel Pass
Kip has now discovered:-
I am assured by the Hotel (Llanthony Priory) that they will be opening as planned, and people accessing the hotel will be using the Gospel Pass. The date for reopening of the road via Cwmyoy is not known, so people should not try to access from that direction.
